What makes Host LA different from other vacation rental managers?
We started Host LA because we owned the homes ourselves and could not find a property manager who treated guests the way we wanted them treated. So we became the property manager. Unlike franchise managers who juggle hundreds of listings they have never visited, Host LA manages only properties owned by the founding team. That means every home is personally inspected before each stay, every guest question is answered by someone who knows where the extra towels are, and every issue gets a same-day response — usually within minutes.
Where are Host LA properties located?
Host LA operates in two markets. In La Quinta, California, our homes sit near PGA West with private pools and mountain views — ideal for golf trips and desert retreats. In Isla Verde, Puerto Rico, our units are inside the ESJ Towers beachfront complex, two minutes from the sand. The Puerto Rico homes are operated in partnership with Host PR, who bring the same standard to Isla Verde that we apply in La Quinta.
How does guest verification work?
Every guest goes through Check-In Verify before a reservation is confirmed. We verify identity and intent because we own these homes and our neighbors trust us to keep the community safe. No anonymous bookings, ever. This is also why we maintain a 4.4-star rating across more than 1,600 reviews after 12 years of hosting.
