The Elegant Suite

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a layout that gives eight people enough room to coexist without stepping on each other. The primary bedroom faces the water. The second bedroom is separated enough that different sleep schedules do not collide.

The balcony holds a full dinner table and faces the direction of the water. On clear evenings you get the offshore lights and the trade winds at the same time. Most groups end up spending more time on the balcony than they planned for.

Isla Verde beach is two minutes from the building. The route is flat and shaded for most of the walk. If your group has young kids or older guests, the walk does not ask anything of anyone.

The kitchen is equipped for serious cooking. Full-size refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, and enough counter space to prep for the whole group. We have had groups that catered everything in from local restaurants and groups that cooked every meal. Both approaches work.

Old San Juan is 15 minutes by Uber. El Morro, Calle Fortaleza, the Mercado, the coffee at the corner cafeteria. We put our three favorite things to do in each area in the pre-arrival guide. Guests add their own finds to the guest book for the people who come after them.
